Hello, Hello! Today I will be doing a writing interview on Elise Compton. If you don't know what that is It's basically me just asking them questions about their writing life. So here we goooooo!!!!!
Q: How many WIPS do you have?
A: Six. it would be a lot less, but my series: The Audacious Adventures, is always progressing, which adds three books to the jumble.
Q: What is your favorite WIP?
A: The Dagger! It's in the AA (Audacious Adventures) trilogy I mentioned earlier. It's fantasy/adventure. The protagonist is Odessa, antagonist? Garean. Sorry, I don't know what else to say! I hate describing things... comes from being a writer.
Q: What made you want to start writing?
A: My very bestest friend, Madelyn inspired me! On a side note, you can also find her book (The dreamcatchers) on her wattpad Madnikki01
Q: Favorite genre of writing?
A: Either fantasy or sci-fi. I love sci-fi. In fact,I wrote a comedy/sci-fi story recently, which just increased my love for sci-fi!
Q: Have you ever shed a writers tear over your work?
A: Eh, no. I'm an evil writer. Actual quote from me to my friend when she was asking about new characters: "Oh, you know, shove off the boat, you have to pull some new ones in." pretty sure she was creeped out, lol.
Q: What is your most successful book attempt?
A: Galaxies away, OR The Dagger. I personally like The Dagger better, and once it undergoes editing, hopefully it will be even better. I successfully finished it with 50,000+ words. Ugh. The pain o' writing.
Q: What is the worst case of writers block you've ever had?
A: Three years ago after I wrote the first five sentences in my story, (The terrible at the time Dagger [of Achilles].)
Q: Are you considering to do NaNoWriMo this year?
A: Nah. I have my own goals, and believe me, I do NOT like being overwhelmed. Plus, i need to focus on editing. Not writing a new story, or one of my sub-main stories.
Thank you to Elise for doing this interview with me. I will link her Wattpad here . here blog here , and her pinterest here . Thanks for reading and God Bless. ~Emma
