Ideas.
Hi guys! just a quick little update/idea. I was wondering if y'all would like for me to blog about the 4th of July? our Church puts on this huge picnic and pie contest. and after that we will be going to a friends house for a huge potluck! I will most likely do it. but I will probably be blogging A LOT during next week because I have some ideas that will fit in with the week of the 4th. I will probably do a HUGE post about the picnic and everything, plus an OOTD, and a planner peek. so just prepare yourselves. God Bless. ~Emma
Randomness.
this is just a random post where I will be talking about my main book idea for NaNoWriMo this year and just randomness itself. so let's dive in. ( This also takes place in medieval times. [just so y'all know])
Let's just start off with my characters for the story i will be writing in November (for NaNoWriMo) It's called Chasing Daylight I'll link my pinterest so you can check out the whole thing there.

this is Liz, the main character of my story and an all around, shy, quiet meek person, until you hand her a bow. Then you better watch out.
this is Maisie, a side character, very girly so when the whole kingdom went down the toilet she really had to learn to cope with things.
This is Andrew, He is interested in Liz but she hates everyone most of the time so....
This is Brooklyn very quiet. very much a side character.
(In medieval times though.) Joel Evans, likes Maisie another side character.
Wren. someone that Liz meets in the woods after something that I can't say. *EVIL WRITER LAUGHS*
Isadora-ish, Wren's daughter. I just thought that it would be nice to have another character in the woods along with Liz and Wren.
Dominick. The captain of the ---------/guard. I plan to have him and Wren clash heads a lot. they're both very strong willed and just strong in general.
Now for just some random summer photography things I found on Pinterest.
I love this. so summery and beachy.
Love
Summer is happiness.
I love this so much.
So cute!
SUMMER FREEDOM.
That's it for this post. I know, this is very very random but it's the things I enjoy God Bless. ~Emma

Fashion Finds!
So I'm going to try to post Fashion Finds maybe once every two weeks.. And I take no credit for these. I went on Pinterest and found them. So props to you if you designed these outfits. Lets dive in!
I love this combo this is SO something I would wear to Church.
I (personally would wear leggings with it ( and if it was the fall it would go perfect with dark leggings and brown boots!)
this is SO cute. I love coral stuff.
I LOVE IT.
that wraps this up. Now, I do have one small question for my followers. do you like the blog name Miss Emma or should I change it into something like "Life of Emma" instead? i have been debating on this for sometime and it just popped into my head to ask you guys. God Bless ~Emma

Writing Interview #2. Ft. I. A.
Hello! Welcome to the 2nd post of my series. "Writing interviews" (yeah, I know there's no catchy title or anything.) but it's basically where I interview a writer and ask them about their writing life. Today I will be featuring I. A.
Q: How many WIPS do you have?
A: Currently four major ideas!
Q: What is your favorite WIP?
A: My very first book plan, that I've been working on for 4 years or soon. It's a present day scifi about a mass abductor and people try to prevent it.
Q: what made you want to start writing?
A: When I had just begun to venture into Teen-Fiction and was crushingly disappointed with everything I picked up. Every book I read at the time was awfully written, and upon reading the quote, "Write the book you want to read" I became determined to grace the shelves with something that had never been done before.
Q: Favorite genre of writing?
A: Scifi, definitely! I consider it a passion at this point, hehe.
Q: Have you ever shed a writers tear over your work?
A: I don't cry over my own writing- heck, I rarely cry at all- but one day I really stopped to consider how much effort I've put in a single novel plan and how much it's affected me, and how different I would be without it. It really go to me, the pride of all I'd done so far. So yes!
Q: what is your most successful book attempt?
A: That first WIP I keep mentioning, haha. 100,000+ words. (OHMYGOSH) it's gonna be big.
Q: What is the worst case of writers block you've ever had and how long did it last?
A: That would probably be last summer. I was getting overwhelmed with how many plot holes I'd yet to finish and I thought I'd never be done. It lasted around 2 months- I kept writing throughout them, but I hated every word.
Q: Are you considering to do NaNoWriMo this year?
A: I would like to, I just don't really have the time. Plus, I think I'd feel like I was rushing myself with an event like that.
Thank you to I. A. for participating in this interview. I will link her Pinterest here and her Instagram right here . God Bless. ~Emma

I Love Summer Tag!
Well, this is my first tag that I've ever done on this blog. I will most likely to the sweater weather tag when Fall rolls around. But anyway, let's jump in! (And yes, you might be thinking "Oh my gosh, Emma, third Q&A in a row? yes, but it will help you guys get to know me better. :)
1.Favorite bronzer for Summer?
Honestly, I depend on the sun for this one. I don't use self bronzer at all. And I don't plan to.
2. Favorite summer lip product?
(moisturizer) EOS lip balm in "Summer Fruit" or in "Sweet Mint" (Color) probably something pink or coral-y
3. Pool or beach?
I really don't know. I honestly don't. I love both. I love the beach for the warm water, but then I love the pool for the floaties and being able to go there more often.
4. Favorite summer nail polish?
definitely my Sally Hansen gel polish that's neon orange in "Bora Bora"
5. Any Summer traditions?
My favorite thing in the Summer is our annual 4th of July church picnic, there's always a HUGE water fight and a watermelon eating contest. Not to mention random games. (Tell me if you want me to blog about the picnic when the time comes!)
6. Favorite summer scent?
That's a tough one, I don't wear a lot of perfume but I'd say I have 3 top scents. (these are all from Bath and Body Works) "Lush Pink Dragon Fruit" Beautiful Day" or "Country Chic"
7. Favorite Summer song?
"Can't Stop The Feeling" By Justin Timberlake. I'm actually listening to it right now. XD
That's all for this post. sorry that there's only 7 questions. anyway, till next time. God Bless ~Emma

Writing Interview. Ft. Julia Napoli.
Okkayyyy.. so first, I will explain this writing interview-who nonsense. I found a writer and she agreed to let me ask questions about her writing life.
So let us begin!
Q: How many WIPS do you have going right now?
A: Right now I think I have four big ideas roaming around, but I always have tons of small ideas floating around in my head too. The four big ones would be one that is currently titled "Long Live the Humans, two other ones I have yet to title, and another one called Superunnatural.
Q: What is your favorite WIP?
A: My favorite WIP would probably be my most recent idea that I actually haven't written much at all. I haven't even named my main character yet, but I think I have the whole plot in my head and I think it's epic. Hint: it has aliens and a huge plot twist that I've never seen in a book or movie before.
(just in my opinion, I think it sounds pretty epic.)
Q: what made you want to write?
A: Most of the credit for me starting to write would have to go to my big sister. When we were little she would write stories, and then I would totally copy her and like change the person's first name or something XD. Then, of course, I would deny copying her, but yeah that's how I started writing. I didn't really start writing seriously until i was older and started reading the Redwall series (They're pretty great books) and it really inspired me.
Q: Favorite writing style?
A: I'm not really sure... I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but a style of writing I really like is what I like to call 'Nonsense Books' which are basically books like Alice in Wonderland, Phantom Tollbooth, and Peter Pan, where everything is just made up and whimsical. My range of books I like is really huge though, I like everything from Treasure Island and Peter Pan (Mentioned above) to all the futuristic books like Hunger Games and Maze Runner
Q: have you ever shed writers tears over your work?
A: I will admit it......no, I have not. I do fangirl over stuff I've thought up, but I don't think I've ever shed an actual tear
Q: what is your most successful book attempt?
A: My most successful book attempt would be a book called 'Breaking Point'. I did it for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and I only got up to like 15,000 words, but it was a huge accomplishment for me.
(it would be one for me too!)
Q: what is the worst case of writers block you've ever had and how long did it last?
A: The worst case of writers block I've ever had is actually happening right now. I'ts probably been going on for a couple months, I know it's horrible! I'm hoping since I recently thought up a new idea I'll be able to get some of it down, but well see.
Thank you to Julia Napoli for doing this interview with me. I feel like Caesar Flickerman on the Hunger Games. I will link her blog here and her Pinterest here make sure to check out her blog because she will be doing a fangirl interview on me! anyway, that's all folks. God Bless ~Emma.

Q&A
YAY! So I really lost hope that I would do this Q&A but then an AWESOME follower of mine on pinterest gave me a bunch of questions that I'm going to answer! As a thank you to her I will link her blog here ! so now, moving on to the questions. *cracks knuckles*
Q: what is your favorite fictional character?
A:eeek! that's really a hard one. That's like asking a mother who her favorite child is. But, I'd probably have to go with Newt from The Maze Runner series. He's just the funny seet, adorable side character that really makes the whole series awesome!.
Q:What's your favorite book?
A:That is another hard one! probably Catching Fire, from The Hunger Games series. Or it could possibly be The Scorch Trials from The Maze Runner series. Or Divergent, from the Divergent series. I'm sorry, I honestly don't know
Q:Favorite Bible verse?
A:That's another hard one. considering I like A LOT of verses... probably 2 Corinthians 5:7 "For we walk by Faith, not by sight" it really has a lot of meaning to me and a reminder to trust God in everything.
Q: Favorite Movie?
A: hmmmm.....I do like many, many movies, but one that I could watch over and over again and not get tired of it. Probably have to go with Jurassic World. The acting is amazing and the suspense just kills me every time.
Q: Favorite ice cream flavor?
A: now we are bringing in my favorite thing. FOOD. I like most, but mint chocolate chip, or cookie dough has got to be it.
Q: If you could transport yourself to any fictional world, what would it be and why?
A: This answer is going to shock everyone, but I would probably have to go with.... The Maze Runner. And yes, you might be thinking "WAIT, what? but why your chances of dying are like, literally so high and there are grievers and cranks an-"
Yes, Yes. but I really think that I would be up for the challenge of it. Plus they have Newt.* HAPPY FANGIRL SQUEAL*
Q: Do you have any siblings?
A: Yes! I have 1 older brother, and 1 younger sister! (yes I am the middle child. don't judge JK)
Thank you so much for the questions Julia! it really means a lot to me. God Bless ~Emma
